Pull down govt, TDP challenges Jagan

Throwing a challenge to Jaganmohan Reddy, the TDP on Sunday said it would extend help if the YSR Congress party takes a concrete step to pull down the government by parading 100 Congress MLAs, whom Jagan claims are his followers, before the governor.

At a press conference on Sunday, party leaders Ashok Gajapati Raju, Tummala Nageswara Rao and A Revanth Reddy said if Jagan was willing to do so, the TDP would also get their 90 members before the governor and prove that the government was in minority.

Lashing out at Jagan, they said the YSR Congress had missed an opportunity to put the government in the dock. Even Vijayalakshmi, who took oath as MLA, did not attend the session held to elect the Speaker of the House. "This shows that either Jagan does not have the support of that many members as he claims or there is some kind of 'match-fixing' between him and the Congress high command,'' the TDP leaders said.
