Kadapa MP and the YSR Congress president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy is likely to lead his party cadres and the farmers during the proposed dharna in front of the Collectorate, Chittoor on Monday. Cadres and farmers led by Mr. Jagan would lay siege to the Collectorate protesting the indifferent attitude of Kiran Kumar Reddy government in tackling the serious problems plaguing the farm sector and the agrarian community as a whole.
A note released by the party has cited in this connection a range of issues like the inadequate MSP for sugar cane and milk, non-release of compensation for the crops damaged in November cyclone.
