KAKINADA: The office of the YSR Congress Party was inaugurated at Bhaskara Buildings adjacent to Cinema Road on Saturday. Party's central governing committee member Jyothula Nehru inaugurated the office and announced the appointment of former corporator from the Telugu Desam Party R.V.J.R. Kumar, popularly known as Frooti Kumar, as city convener of the YSR Congress Party. As many as 25 former corporators and an equal number of former councillors from the Congree party headed by former deputy Mayor Pasupuleti Venkata Lakshmi joined the YSR Congress Party in the presence of Mr. Nehru.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Nehru said that only YSR Congress Party could fulfill the dream projects of the former Chief Minister the late Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy. He foresaw a bright future to the party under the leadership of Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy.
