• The 62nd birth anniversary of former Chief Minister late YS Rajasekhara Reddy is observed today. Jagan Mohan Reddy and his family members pay homage at YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya.

• Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has paid homage to former Chief Minister late YS Rajasekhara Reddy on his 62nd birth anniversary. He garlanded the state of YSR at Panjagutta circle in Hyderabad. Deputy Chief Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha, PCC President Botcha Satyanarayana, former Chief Minister K Rosaiah, Ministers Danam Nagender and Mukesh Goud were also present.

• YS Vivekananda Reddy, the former agriculture minister and brother of former chief minister late YS Rajasekhara Reddy said that the issue of a separate Telangana state won't have come up if YSR were alive. Speaking to the media in Hyderabad, he said that he is not aspiring for any positions in the Government, rather he wants to work as a simple party worker. He said that it will be better if Jagan makes a resolution on United Andhra Pradesh in the YSR Congress Party plenary meeting.
