Jagan postpones visit to Jerusalem

HYDERABAD: YSR Congress Party president Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy, who was to leave for Jerusalem on Thursday night, postponed his visit in the wake of the sudden political developments that began unfolding since Wednesday.
Mr. Jagan was scheduled to leave for Israel along with his mother Vijayamma on Thursday and return to the city on June 10.

But the swift developments that culminated in the Telugu Desam Party serving a one line notice for moving no confidence motion and the government's reported moves to table a confidence vote forced him to defer his visit.
YSR Congress central governing council member Konathala Ramakrishna said as the president of a fledgling political party, Mr. Jagan was expected to stay put in the State when major changes were in the offing.
He alleged that the Congress and the TDP were trying to push through their agenda in the absence of Mr. Jagan.
